Charge my Hyundai therefore promotes the use of renewable energy and ensures that for each charging event the equivalent amount of energy consumed is fed into the electricity grid as green electricity.*

*With the exemption of charging events at IONITY stations as these charging events are directly supplied with 100% green energy in accordance with IONITY’s own green energy commitment.

One centralised system.

Guarantees of Origin are the established form of green energy certificates in Europe, which certify how and where electricity is produced from renewable energy sources.
Independent registration.

Renewable energy producers can have these Guarantees of Origin issued by independent registration bodies for the amount of electricity they produce and feed into the grid.
Supporting renewable energies.

Guarantees of Origin guarantee that electricity from renewable fuel sources was fed into the network. In this way, Charge myHyundai supports environmentally friendly forms of power generation.
